Why Share Resources?

 

Hope of Heaven for Teens enthusiastically welcomes book, Bible study, song, and counseling resource suggestions. We love sharing resources that you have found impactful with our online community! 

 

Every single resource you suggest makes a difference because finding quality Christian resources relevant to a personal grief journey can be extremely difficult. Hope of Heaven for Teens uses the resources you submit to compile published lists (the ‘Book’, ‘Counseling Resources’, and ‘Songs’ pages) that we hope make each website visitor’s search process easier.

 

God could use a resource that personally impacted you to bless someone else too. Your quick recommendation could deeply bless someone else’s moment, day, week, or life!

 

Resource Types & Details: 

 

Currently, we accept books, Bible study, song, or counseling resource suggestions. (If you know another resource type that does not exist on this website yet, please email hopeofheaven4teens@gmail.com. We would love to consider sharing new resource types for readers to benefit from!) 

 

The process for submitting a resource is mostly anonymous. We usually accept and publish all resources we receive submissions for in 1-2 weeks. However, we cannot publish resources that do not abide by the guidelines listed in the checklists below:

 

Book / Bible Study Suggestion Steps

 

• Make sure the book you are suggesting aligns with our Statement of Faith (https://www.hopeofheavenforteens.com/our-statement-of-faith - Please email hopeofHeaven4teens@gmail.com with further questions.)

• Prepare a 50-word description that you have written yourself (without using AI) to share what the book is about and why you would recommend it. [Please write it like you would to a friend, not an advertisement. We will edit for grammar and spelling. The description does not need to be perfect, just authentic.]

• Log into your Google account to access the Google Form (Resource Submission Form) or email hopeofHeaven4teens@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Resource Recommendation’ if you do not have a Google account.

• In the Google Form or email, please include:

  • Title

  • Author

  • Year your copy of the book was published

  • Your description (under 50 words)

  • Your agreement that you did not use AI to write the description

 

Song Suggestion Steps

 

• Make sure the song you are suggesting aligns with our Statement of Faith (https://www.hopeofheavenforteens.com/our-statement-of-faith - Please email hopeofHeaven4teens@gmail.com with further questions.)

• Make sure the song doesn’t contain any disrespectful language / ‘swear words’

• Prepare a 50-word description that you have written yourself (without using AI) to share what the song is about and why you would recommend it. [Please write it like you would to a friend, not an advertisement. We will edit for grammar and spelling. The description does not need to be perfect, just authentic.]

• Log into your Google account to access the Google Form (Resource Submission Form) or email hopeofHeaven4teens@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Resource Recommendation’ if you do not have a Google account.

• In the Google Form or email, please include:

  • Song Title

  • Singer / group

  • Song genre (Examples: Christian country, jazz, rock, pop)

  • Your description (under 50 words)

  • Your agreement that you did not use AI to write the description

 

Counseling Service Suggestion Steps

 

• Please make sure the service’s values respect or agree with Christian values as defined in our Statement of Faith (https://www.hopeofheavenforteens.com/our-statement-of-faith). If you’re not sure what the service’s values are, their ‘about’ page will help us determine that so feel free to suggest the resource anyway.

• Please only submit a service you have personally used or personally know someone who has used it.

• Log into your Google account to access the Google Form (Resource Submission Form) or email hopeofHeaven4teens@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Resource Recommendation’ if you do not have a Google account.

• In the Google Form or email, please include: 

  • Name of the service

  • Company the service operates under (if different from the service name)

  • Link to the service website’s ‘about’ page

  • Physical location details and/or specify ‘online’ availability

  • Average cost to use the service
