Counseling Resources

God promises His Holy Spirit to counsel you in times when you need wisdom (John 14:26, AMP), His Presence when you feel alone (Psalm 46:1, NIV), and Jesus deeply understands grief (Isaiah 53:3, NKJV and John 11:35, NIV). God longs to support you through challenging times with provision, rest, and peace for your mind and heart.

However, professional counseling could be a helpful option when you are experiencing a mental health challenge influenced by grief. Professional counseling could be an opportunity to talk through your thoughts and concerns in a safe space and seek healing.

(We hope to have user-recommended counseling options on this page soon. However, the current list is based on management research and does not reflect any particular experience with any of the listed services. If you have a counseling service to recommend, please visit our Contribute page to learn more (https://www.hopeofheavenforteens.com/contribute).)

Each resource was recommended by a website visitor or gathered by careful research. Hope of Heaven does not recommend a particular resource. We recommend talking with your parent / guardian and carefully researching the service before setting up an individual appointment, signing up for a group, or setting up a session series with a particular service.

God created you for a purpose and your life is precious to Him. Please do not take what He has given you. Even if you feel like your life has no purpose, God has a unique purpose for you here on Earth that He’ll reveal to you day by day. He will take you Home on His timing and in His own way. Trusting His timing can be hard though.

We have a page of counseling resources (https://www.hopeofheavenforteens.com/counseling-resources) that website visitors have recommended to us. This may be helpful to you if you are struggling with grief or non-grief related depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or any other ongoing emotional difficulty that is affecting your daily life.
